  It was a last minute decision to have a late lunch here.  Fantastic meal.  Not super fancy inside but clean and bright. Shared meal included:  Sushi pizza - the rice was crunchy and tasty. Unagi and Toro Nigiri -  their toro is white in color, we had to ask if maybe they made a mistake, but she said it was "their version".  Not sure which part of the fish this actually was but it was delicious none the less.  We had a simple bakudan roll and the fire mountain.  Both were really good.  The fire mountain had sesame oil and if you enjoy that this is the roll for you, plus it had a ton of fresh fish in the middle.  Rolls were a nice size, not super big that you couldn't eat them in one bite. Would come here again.

  This is a quiet sleeper for good sushi and super friendly owners and staff - a neighbourhood spot. A River Heights staple that's fast, reliable and consistently good. Highly recommended and totally worth a visit.

  Awesome food, we came in near to the closing time but the servers were so nice and still accommodate us. Will definitely be back here

  This place has gone down hill. Their wait staff is very slow.  We were told to pick a place to sit but all the tables were dirty. I didn't think this place was that busy since most of the people in the restaurant already had their food. After our table was cleaned we had to get our own menus since she was doing something else.
  I don't know what happened to this place,  it just seems like they hired someone without any experience.

  I was really hopeful ordering from here. The reviews are really good so we had high hopes. We ordered a miso soup, two edemame, 25pc assorted sashimi (that was supposed to come with miso soup, edemame and salad. They just made one of our really small edemame orders a bit bigger), Tuna Tatake and a tuna roll (Tekka Maki). We didn't get Wasabi or ginger with our 25 pc assorted sashimi and we were missing our Tekka maki. The tuna tataki, though cooked nice, was missing the green onions and ponzu sauce so it was very dry and not very flavorful. When we called the delivery service the restaurant told her that the tuna tataki doesn't come with onions and sauce. I checked the menu AGAIN and it says it does. We called the delivery service (Just eat) and asked to have the missing roll, ginger and wasabi sent. In the meantime I tried one of the assorted sashimi (salmon) while waiting and felt a sharp prick in my cheek. I spat out my morsel and there's tiny bones in all of the salmon slices (we didn't eat those.) When the roll finally showed up they only sent a bit of wasabi and no ginger. Greg was so freaked from the bones in the salmon he stopped eating and only had edemame and miso (which was bland). Disappointed and sadly won't be ordering from here again. (Their rice was a little sweet for me though the fish tasted  fresh. we didn't have much of a variety in the assorted sashimi and not being able to eat the salmon from all the bones...) What a waste of $70!
